Dr. Sarah Freiburger is the dedicated and passionate owner of Eye Q Optometry. She graduated with honours from University of Waterloo in 2012. Following graduation, she gained invaluable experience during her externship in Florida, focusing on diabetic retinopathy, ARMD, and pre and post-op cataracts.
In 2018, Dr. Freiburger further broadened her expertise by completing the OEPF clinical curriculum, a course focused on developmental/behavioural optometry and vision therapy. This education has fueled her interest in vision therapy and neuro-optometry.
Dr. Freiburger cherishes the opportunity to improve people’s overall wellness through her work beyond just their eyesight. She values the diversity of her patients’ backgrounds and histories, finding delight in the connections she creates. Her commitment to early detection and treatment of eye problems underscores her proactive approach to disease prevention.
Away from her professional duties, Dr. Freiburger leads an active lifestyle. She enjoys hiking, camping, running, trail running, and soccer. A significant portion of her time is also joyfully spent chasing after her children. Her enthusiasm for life equally matches Dr. Freiburger’s passion for her work.
